Illustrated real estate desk with a laptop, house keys and a floor plan

These 15 real estate agent message templates cover property enquiries, viewing arrangements, follow-ups and process updates. Replace every bracketed field with verified details before sending. Download the same messages as a CSV snippet library for supported browser fields.

A saved reply is useful when someone asks how to book a viewing. The property’s availability, meeting point and next step still need your attention. Keep each message tied to the enquiry or process the recipient has actually agreed to.

Download and test the message shortcuts

Download the 15 real estate message snippets (CSV). The shortcuts start with ;re-, use AfterDelimiter and import disabled. Edit and enable only the snippets you plan to use.

Text Replacements for Chrome and Edge imports CSV libraries and inserts saved text into supported web fields. The bracketed values are literal placeholders; the extension does not look up a listing, fill client details or send the message for you.

  1. Export a backup of your current library, then import the download.
  2. Replace shared wording such as your signature and approved contact process. Review your organisation’s required wording.
  3. Enable one edited snippet and allow the extension on the site where you write messages.
  4. Open an empty, unsent draft in the exact email, CRM or portal field you intend to use. Type ;re-viewing, then press Space.
  5. Check that the text appears once, fits the field and retains useful spacing. Replace every bracketed field before sending.

Use Space while testing because Enter may send a chat message. A particular CRM or property portal can use an editor the extension does not support. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are unsupported. If expansion fails in a field, copy the wording manually while you check compatibility.

In Chrome, you can review extension site access in the extension’s Details page. Follow Google’s extension permissions instructions and use your organisation’s approved browser setup.

Verify the property and appointment details

Check availability against the current listing record before replying. Keep a request for viewing times separate from a confirmed appointment: use ;re-confirm only after the time and access arrangements have been agreed.

For a listing question you cannot answer yet, use the details template to separate confirmed facts from the item you are checking. Avoid promising financing approval, offer acceptance, rental eligibility or a completion date unless the responsible party has actually confirmed it through the appropriate process.

Ask about the recipient’s requested property features, location and budget. Keep recommendations tied to those stated criteria and verified property facts. Do not infer someone’s background or describe a neighbourhood as suitable for a particular kind of person.

Request documents without putting them in the snippet library

The document template points to an approved submission process. Check the destination and the requested list before sending it. Avoid asking someone to reply to a casual chat with identity documents, bank statements or passwords. A shared snippet library should contain generic wording and placeholder labels, not client records.

An offer or application acknowledgement confirms receipt only. Use your approved transaction documents for formal acceptance, contractual terms and required disclosures. Contact-preference messages should follow the consent and recordkeeping process your organisation uses.

Use separate shortcuts for different commitments

The enquiry, viewing request and confirmation templates make different statements. Distinct names reduce the chance of inserting a confirmation while you are still checking access. Disable or update a snippet when a booking process changes.

The CSV can also move to the Windows app through the shared snippet format. Transferring a file does not create live synchronisation between your installations.

Frequently asked questions

Will these snippets fill in property details automatically?
No. Square brackets are literal placeholders. Replace the name, property reference, availability, times and links yourself before sending.
Can I use these shortcuts in every CRM or property portal?
Editor support varies. Test the exact field in an unsent draft and check the inserted text. The extension does not support Google Docs, Sheets or Slides.
Does the extension send messages or follow-ups?
No. It inserts saved text into supported fields. You review the message and use the website’s own send control.

Save the recurring wording, test it in your browser and review each property message before sending.
