ClientSafe is published by GagarinSoft. This policy explains how the app handles your documents and what happens when you contact us.
Your documents stay on your PC
ClientSafe reads the files and folders you select and processes them on your Windows PC. It makes safe copies in which personal data is replaced with placeholders. Your original files are not changed.
The app does not send your documents, their contents, filenames or file paths to GagarinSoft or to any AI service.
Cases and the replacement table
Documents are organized in cases that are stored on your PC. For each case, ClientSafe keeps a table that links placeholders to the real values. The table is stored encrypted on your PC until you delete the case. Deleting a case erases its table permanently.
Activity log
ClientSafe keeps a log on your PC of when documents were anonymized, how many items were replaced and of what type, and when real values were restored. The log does not contain the personal data itself.
Safe copies and AI services
You decide what to do with a safe copy. When you paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another service, or save it in a folder that syncs to the cloud, that service handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
No telemetry, no network requests
ClientSafe has no telemetry and no advertising. The app makes no network requests except for Microsoft Store licensing. App updates are delivered by Microsoft Store.
Microsoft Store
Microsoft Store handles installation, purchases, trials, licensing and app updates. ClientSafe does not require a separate account or collect your payment details.
Microsoft processes Store data under its own Privacy Statement.
Support and privacy requests
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request. Please do not send client documents or personal data when a description of the problem is enough.
Our support mailbox uses Gmail, which is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

This website
The ClientSafe pages do not provide a document-upload service or use analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes technical request data to deliver the website. The GagarinSoft website Privacy Policy describes website hosting in more detail.

We will update this page if our data-handling practices change. The date above shows when this policy was last updated.
