How it works

From client files to a safe copy.

Three steps. Your original files stay unchanged.

  1. Add the client's documents to a case.

    Select files or a whole folder. ClientSafe finds names, companies, addresses and other personal data in all of them.

  2. Review what was found.

    Untick matches that are not personal data. Mark anything it missed.

  3. Copy the safe copy for AI.

    Paste it into your AI tool. When the answer comes back, paste it into ClientSafe and the real names return.

What gets replaced

The details that identify a client.

Each one becomes a placeholder such as Person_1 or Company_1. The AI still reads who did what.

Cases

One client, one case.

Documents live in cases. The same name gets the same placeholder in every document of a case, so the AI can follow the story across files.

  • Restore the answerPaste the AI's answer and ClientSafe puts the real names back.
  • Activity logSee when documents were anonymized and how many items of each type were replaced. The log does not contain the personal data itself.

Documents are processed on your PC. ClientSafe makes no network requests except for Microsoft Store licensing, and it has no telemetry.

The table that links placeholders to real names is stored encrypted on your PC until you delete the case.

FAQ

A few things to know.

Does it find everything?

No tool can promise that. ClientSafe shows you what it found before you copy anything, so you can untick false matches and mark text it missed.

Does it change my original files?

No. It makes a separate safe copy.

Can I get the real names back in the AI's answer?

Yes. Paste the answer into ClientSafe and it replaces the placeholders with the real names.

Do my documents leave my PC?

No. ClientSafe processes them on your PC. When you paste a safe copy into an AI service, that service handles it under its own terms.

Is it a redaction tool for court filings?

No. ClientSafe makes a safe copy of the text for AI tools. It is not for redacting documents you send to another party or a court.

What happens to images and scans?

Scanned PDFs are read as text. Images inside documents are left out of the safe copy.
