For Authors & Bloggers

Keep the draft moving.
Stop retyping your own sentences.

Long-form writing stalls when your hands lag behind the paragraph you've already worked out in your head. Typeahead offers the next few words based on how you actually write — not a rewrite, not a suggestion to sound smarter, just the rest of the sentence you were already typing.

It doesn't finish your thought.

The Problem

Momentum is the scarcest resource in a first draft. Every time your typing speed falls behind your thinking speed, the sentence you were building starts to slip.

  • Repetitive scene-setting phrases and transitions retyped constantly
  • Cloud AI writing tools rewrite your voice into something generic
  • Most autocomplete tools live in one browser tab, not your notes app or Word
  • Drafting offline — on a train, a cabin, a flight — usually means no assistance at all

How Typeahead Fits

Typeahead runs a small local model that predicts likely continuations based on general phrasing patterns — it completes the sentence structure you're already mid-way through, in Word, Notepad, or any notes app.

  • Works in Word, Notepad, and most Windows editors and notes apps
  • Fully offline — no Wi-Fi needed to keep drafting
  • It's not an idea generator or style rewriter — it only completes what you started
  • Ignore it by continuing to type; it never edits text already on the page
For your workflow
Built for drafting, not editing

Nothing rewrites your paragraphs. It only completes the line you're currently on.

Works where you actually draft

Word, Notepad, and most notes and journaling apps on Windows — the suggestion appears right next to your cursor, mid-paragraph.

Drafts offline, same as online

Once the model is downloaded, suggestions keep working with no connection at all — useful on a train, a flight, or a cabin with no signal.

Not a ghostwriter

Typeahead completes likely sentence structure from local phrasing patterns. It doesn't generate paragraphs, brainstorm plot points, or rewrite your voice.

Manuscripts stay yours

Everything runs on-device through a local model. No account, no cloud sync of your drafts, no telemetry on what you write.

Questions from writers
Will Typeahead write my paragraphs for me?
No. It only completes the sentence you're currently typing, based on general phrasing patterns from a local model — it doesn't generate new ideas, plot events, or full paragraphs on its own.
Does it change my writing voice?
It suggests likely continuations of the sentence structure you've already started. If a suggestion doesn't sound like you, keep typing past it — nothing is inserted unless you press Tab.
Can I use it without an internet connection?
Yes. Once you've downloaded a model, Typeahead generates suggestions entirely on your PC. It needs a connection only to download the model itself or check for app updates.
Does it work in Word and Notepad?
Yes, along with most other Windows text editors and notes apps. The suggestion appears inline next to your cursor and Tab inserts it.
Is my manuscript sent anywhere?
No. Suggestions are generated locally and discarded in memory. There's no account, no cloud sync, and no telemetry on the text you write.
