Privacy policy

Paperkiss is a Windows app published by GagarinSoft. This policy explains the app’s local processing and the information you choose to send us.
Your files stay on your PC.
Selected documents and photos are processed on your PC. Paperkiss does not upload their contents, filenames or paths to GagarinSoft. Exports are saved where you choose; if that location syncs to a cloud service, that service handles the files under its own terms.
Protected local storage
Library items contain the selected master image, mask and editing settings. A draft is created only when you choose to save one; it contains a copy of the original document, element images and their positions, entered text, selected dates and formatting settings. Later edits to that saved draft autosave. Library items and drafts are encrypted locally with a key protected by Windows. PDF passwords are not saved in drafts and are requested again when you reopen a protected document. Deletion removes the saved item from the app; cleanup of its encrypted data may finish later. Portable library backups use a separate password and do not contain drafts. Keep the backup and password safe: the password cannot be reset. Exported files and backups must be managed separately.
Microsoft Store
Document processing does not require a Paperkiss account or cloud service. The app contains no advertising or analytics SDK. Microsoft Store handles purchases, trials, downloads and updates under Microsoft’s privacy terms.
Support
If you contact support, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use them to respond to your request. Our support mailbox uses Gmail. You can request deletion of information you sent us by contacting the address below. Do not send private documents, signature photos or passwords when a description is enough.
