MD Factory is published by GagarinSoft. This policy explains how the app handles your documents and what happens when you contact us.
Your documents stay on your PC
MD Factory reads the files and folders you select and converts them locally on your Windows PC. This includes OCR for scanned PDFs. Markdown files and extracted images are saved to the output folder you choose. Your original files are not changed.
The app does not upload your documents, their contents, filenames, or file paths to GagarinSoft or an AI service.
You control the exported files. If you save them in a cloud-synced folder or share them with an AI tool, that service handles them under its own privacy policy.
Settings and temporary files
The app saves your preferences, such as your output folder and language, locally on your device. The conversion queue is kept in memory while the app runs.
Conversion can create temporary files and local cleanup records. MD Factory removes its temporary working files when processing finishes or is cancelled. After an interruption, it attempts to clean up leftover working files the next time it starts. Completed exports remain in your chosen folder until you delete them.
The app does not include advertising or analytics tracking, and it does not automatically send diagnostic reports to us.
Microsoft Store
Microsoft Store handles installation, purchases, trials, licensing, and app updates. MD Factory does not require a separate account or collect your payment details.
Microsoft processes Store data under its own Privacy Statement.
Support and privacy requests
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request. Please avoid sending confidential documents when a description of the problem is enough.
Our support mailbox uses Gmail, which is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

This website
The MD Factory pages do not provide a document-upload service or use analytics scripts. Our hosting provider processes technical request data to deliver the website. The GagarinSoft website Privacy Policy describes website hosting in more detail.
