ONLINE LESSON TECH CHECK: STUDENT AND TUTOR

Before class
[ ] Confirm the lesson link, account, time and time zone.
[ ] Open the required workbook, worksheet, document or clip.
[ ] Agree on the backup contact method and what to do after a disconnect.
[ ] Connect the headset and select the devices you will use.
[ ] If using CallReady on Windows, check the camera and microphone level.
[ ] Close the CallReady check window and other camera previews.

Together in the actual teaching platform
[ ] Join the same lesson room and confirm the required permissions.
[ ] Student reads a sample sentence; tutor repeats it clearly.
[ ] Tutor reads a different sentence; student repeats it clearly.
[ ] Check the face, demonstration or workbook camera view needed for class.
[ ] Tutor shares actual lesson material; student reads a line or detail.
[ ] If using a clip, student confirms that its shared audio is audible.
[ ] Student tries the planned writing, annotation or sharing action.
[ ] With two devices in one room, keep one active mic and speaker path.
[ ] Close private messages and files before screen sharing.
[ ] Use a sample exercise; no recording or saved student image is needed.

If a check fails
[ ] Check mute, selected devices and site/app permissions; repeat the test.
[ ] Enlarge unreadable materials or correct the presentation-audio setting.
[ ] After a disconnect, use the agreed contact method and original lesson link.
[ ] Follow the agreed backup or rescheduling plan if the problem continues.

A device check does not confirm platform access, two-way speech or screen sharing.
